Mondo Cozmo is the new incarnation of Los Angeles rock star Joshua Ostrander, formerly of Eastern Conference Champions fame. In between gearing up for his debut album Plastic Soul (out this summer via Island Records), Ostrander has been capturing hearts with epic singles ‘Shine’ and ‘Hold On To Me’. Already, he’s earned himself spots at Lollapalooza, Reading/Leeds and Life Is Beautiful, and new release ‘Automatic’ proves that this is just the beginning. With U2-esque vocals and the epic orchestration to rival Coldplay, it’s easy to imagine Mondo Cozmo filling stages and stadiums much larger than those planned this summer. If you’re not hitting the festival track, however, you can catch his UK debut at The Lexington on 20^th June. -HM
